Ted Nunes

Born and Raised in California's San Joaquin Valley, Ted Nunes' songwriting is anchored in Country/Americana. A blend of Northern and Southern California musical influences, delicately merged with the sound of Central Valley's Dustbowl transplants.

Nunes' musical journey began at age six, playing air drums to KISS ALIVE with his older brothers and sister. With a steady stream of Headbangers ball VHS tapes, he would play records in his living room between stints playing outside.

In high school Nunes discovered all things classic rock and what would soon be a major musical influence, The Grateful Dead. Early on, he would carry around a notebook writing poetry and other thoughts attempting to understand his place in the world.

At eighteen, Nunes was gifted a guitar at Christmas and not long after his poetry book and Amerciana playing style found each other.

For the past twenty years, he’s been writing daily, crafting songs influenced by old time storytelling and more modern day roots music. With a catalog of hundreds of songs, Nunes plans to release a steady stream of music for the foreseeable future.
