The Bootjack Yacht Club, a band of Mariposa locals, was born out of a desire to get people dancing.  The music incorporates a wide range of sounds and elements from different genres, landing somewhere within the landscape of RnB, dance music, and jazz infused pop.  With Carissa on lead vocals and synthesizer, Kyle on electric guitar, Chris on drums, Drew on bass, and Ethan on keys and synth, the sound is lush and full. The variety of different covers both classic and modern means that there is something for everyone in a Bootjack Yacht Club set.  As always, the goal of the BJYC is to get the crowd movin and groovin.
